Program Description

Warrants can have unusual attributes, such as its term, exercise price, and call features, that can make them a challenge to value. This Webinar will give the attendee an overview of warrants and warrant contract terms as well as a summary of common issues encountered when valuing warrants. Also discussed are the methodologies used to value plain vanilla warrants along with tools available to value warrants with complex contract terms.

Mr. Anthony R. Banks is a Senior Manager with Marcum LLP,  a top national accounting and advisory services firm. Mr. Banks has more than 15 years of professional experience, including business valuation, trial support, investment research and financial analysis. As the senior manager in the business valuation service area, his responsibilities include business valuations for estate and/or gift tax purposes and litigation. In addition, he also deals with lost profit calculations and due diligence investigations. Previously, Mr. Banks wrote a daily analysis of fixed income and equity markets for fund managers and had been a security analyst for several brokerage firms. His experience also includes valuing derivative securities and assisting firms buying or selling businesses.
