The art & science of investigating people & money ©

The intensive five-day Forensic Accounting Academy delivers practical, realistic, and immediately usable financial forensic tools and techniques that you can apply in all aspects of your cases.

The workshop is different from any other (alleged) financial fraud training that you have ever read about or attended. It incorporates Richard Nossen's seven steps of financial crime detection, investigation and prosecution by implementing a step-by-step process map methodology (Forensic Accounting/Investigation Methodology FA/IM©) that delivers hands-on training and valuable tools to facilitate a financial crime investigation.

Learning Objectives
After attending this workshop, participants will:

  • Be able to implement the use of the proprietary financial fraud methodology, Forensic Accounting/Investigation Methodology FA/IM©. Its "process map" approach will be used to illustrate the application of forensic tools and techniques by applying a software-based methodology to investigative tools and techniques.

  • Be able to implement the "Top 20" specific tools and techniques to use in financial fraud and related assignments, e.g., Full-and-False Inclusion, Genogram, Entity(s) Charts, Timeline Analysis, Link Analysis, Item Listing, (Modified) Net Worth Method, Source and Use of Cash Method, Proof-of-Cash Method, Digital Analysis (e.g., Benford's), CAGR, ANOVA, et al.
