The focus of the webinar is to provide participants with an overview of the sale-side investment banking process. Part I describes the M&A market and its drives, sell-side valuation and the M&A process and related documents. Part II covers deal structuring, M&A conventions and the due diligence process.
Learning Objectives
After completing this introductory webinar participants will be able to:
• Identify the various stages of a sales-side M&A process, the documents used in each stage and the the consideration used in structuring sales-side deals.
• Identify the steps in the process used to verify the representations of the seller and distinguish between the valuation used in M&A deals versus formal valuation engagements.
